These tires are the only tires I feel safe in during snow season. I do snow removal in the Colorado mountains and they make my truck absolutely unstoppable. I don't slide at all and never get stuck.

- Round shoulders work well while aired down for paddle traction and flotation through mud, snow, ice, rocks
- Variable Inflation Technology design

SimpleTire’s view on Terra Raider A/T-X KU-257 tires
When it comes to all-terrain tires, there are a lot of options on the market. If you go off-road often and find yourself occasionally dealing with rough terrain, challenging hills, sand, deep mud, or rocks, there’s no substitute for a durable and well-designed all-terrain tire. The Terra Raider A/T-X KU-257 is a surprisingly good value and a strong performer in this category.
With a lot of all-terrain tires that have an aggressive tread pattern, you can practically hear each tread block slapping on the pavement while you make your way down the road, building to a roar as you pick up speed. That’s not the case with the Terra Raider – it’s not exactly quiet, but noise levels are surprisingly low on most pavement surfaces. It’s also a tire that’s pretty drama-free while cornering; it’s not exactly nimble, but it stays composed and planted to the road with minimal tread squirm or understeer. We suspect that’s probably due in part to Terra Raider’s specialized tread compound that delivers good adhesion on wet or dry pavement along with damage resistance and reduced wear.
Off the pavement, we appreciate the fact that the tread blocks of the Terra Raider have facets that face several different angles (including the Mountain Grip wraparound lugs at the sidewall). That comes into play during aired-down rock crawling as the tread blocks conform around rocks, stumps, and obstacles for tenacious grip. Fully-siped tread blocks toward the center and partly-siped blocks at the shoulder give this tire a great balance of traction and easy maneuverability and handling.
Aired-down performance in sand is also exceptional, with the flotation design of the Terra Raider dispersing vehicle weight and allowing it to just sit on top of sandy surfaces and claw the vehicle forward. In mud, the self-cleaning design of the Terra Raider’s lugs and grooves easily fling mud and debris out of the tread for dependable performance in everything but the wettest, deepest, sloppiest mud where a mud-terrain tire might be a better choice. And of course, it’s pre-drilled to make it easy for a tire shop to install studs for severe winter conditions (remember to check state laws for legality and calendar restrictions of studded tires where you live).

I currently have 35k on these and looks to be easily past 40k. This is on a heavily offroaded tundra crewmax. These tires seem to have better quality and thought put into them compared to other tires in this category. There are small "spikes" in between each tread lug all over the tire which improves traction in snow, dirt and whatever else you come across. Think winter tread on the carcass of the tire. Cool concept. Just ordered my second set because I'm in love with these. They just work (and last!) Great traction. They are a little firm but they are 10 ply. Never had issues airing down. Very tough sidewall. Never had punctures on the trail. There may be better tires out there but for the price, this is the pinnacle. I don't write reviews on anything unless I really want people to know a quality product. Thanks simple tire!
Had these tires for about 1000 miles so far and they've already been tested through winter conditions as well as rain and dry roads. The noise is incredible as far as 37 inch tires go and same with the ride quality. Driving a one ton pickup you're gonna feel every bump in the road anyway but since getting these tires it's been a little bit more comfortable. No issues with grip in the snow and puddles on the road don't pull me off the road like my old tires did. They've also got a nice aggressive look that could rival most rough/mud terrains out there and at the price point you can't really beat that. Hard to find good lower priced 37 inch tires that don't demolish the bank.
These tires are out of round according to the local tire shop. I have been back twice to try and have them balanced first with weights then with balance beads with no luck. They shake so bad they are going to cause mechanical damage to my vehicle. I followed the instructions and sent an email to Simple tire with my situation and have gotten absolutely no response!!! I will never deal with this company again! This is a very expensive lesson to learn!!!
Obviously was nervous about these due to not knowing the brand but really couldn't be happier. They were more aggressive than I thought they would be so I was nervous about noise. They're obviously not as quiet as a non AT tire but really can't hear them over wind noise. Heavy duty and well made. Would def get these instead of Toyo's due to saving 1k.
They are some of the few tires that are good on wet grass backed right up to the woodpile. Will buy these again.
Tread is super soft. I have about 10,000 miles and they are about worn out. I will definitely need new tires by fall. Will buy a name brand from now on.
I bought these 315/70R17 because I needed tires and the supply chain was empty of the other brands I originally wanted. Really like how aggressive they look on the side walls and tread. I get a lot of positive compliments on the tires. I have been surprised by how well they performe in my daily driving which consists of country roads and city streets. They have been excellent in heavy rain and standing water(I75 at Jellico Mountain can get ridiculous in a heavy downpour). I haven't needed 4wd when off roading in light mud on moderate trails. They have gotten a little noisier as they've gotten more mileage but they are still not as bad as new mud tires. They have about 30k miles right now and they appear to have 10k left in them. I think they key to that is I rotate them every 5k. Over all happy with the them and they were much cheaper than the others. 37's on my next purchase.
