I waited till winter was in full effect here in western PA. I was looking for a tire that would perform well in the mud/off road and be a good street tire for my daily commute. I've towed with these and now have driven in the worst conditions. They aren't loud when on the highway. Good in the rain but not great. Just take it easy in the rain. In the snow they are better. I'm very pleased with how well they have done so far this winter. Are they as good as an actual winter tire? No, but for being so good off road, they are surprisingly good in the snow. I'm very confident and haven't had a single issue. They do a great job of slinging mud from the tread. They have been through some mud holes and performed very well. For the price, these tires are hard to beat. They took a little weight to balance, but not bad. Rotated them once so far, tread wear seems to be just fine. Very happy with them. And will buy again.

The Goodride SL389 promises a longer service life with great all-round performance. Let’s take a look at its features and corresponding benefits:
- All-terrain performance – The all-season tread of the Goodride SL389 allows increased grip, traction, and handling in different driving conditions of dry, wet, and snow. The deep and wide grooves with multiple sipes allow enhanced grip in moderate water, mud, gravel, snow, and sand along with equally effective traction on paved roads. The optimized tread pattern boosts off-road performance while lending a less noisy ride on smooth surfaces.
- Enhanced durability – With a strong sidewall design, the Goodride SL389 features robust tread elements that crush rocks, debris, and obstacles on the road for solid on and off-road performance. Thanks to the 3-ply carcass construction, the Goodride all-terrain tire provides improved performance as it continues to maintain its shape even when driving under heavy-load conditions. A staggered sidewall tread provides traction while also safeguarding the tire from punctures and tears.
- Long-lasting tread – Thanks to the solid rubber compound, the Goodride SL389 features rigid tread blocks that resist irregular tread wear and allow uniform wear in different driving conditions. With reinforced construction and rugged carcass, the all-terrain tire assures a longer service life and a better value for your money. The 50,000 miles limited warranty brings a great sigh of relief for a budget tire buyer.
