The Gladiator QR900-MT is a mud-terrain tire that’s characterized by a very aggressive tread pattern for generating high traction and performance in various off-road conditions. This is a hybrid tire that sits right in between a standard all-terrain tire and a true mud terrain tire, offering good on-road manners with strong off-road performance. At 19/32, the tread depth here is more than any mud-terrain tire that’s suitable for maximum traction. Those who want to go hunting in backcountry areas, hit dirt trails, or like to go rock crawling can select these tires. Find out more about what we got to know during our Gladiator OR900-MT review here.
Features and Benefits
Owners of light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs can seriously consider installing Gladiator QR900-MT tires. An aggressive tread pattern here is the main reason for tremendous performance and traction on surfaces with rocks, dirt, mud, and other debris. Additionally, to protect the tire on such surfaces from damage, a self-cleaning tread design removes mud, stones, rocks. Steel belts used in construction ensure that the tire remains durable for a long time and delivers consistent performance.
A state-of-the-art sidewall profile here results in even contact pressure with the surface, thereby resulting in uniform tread wear. The tough rubber compound being used here is resistant to chips, cuts, and abrasions for extra durability. Available with a load index of 3,086 pounds and a ply rating of 10, it can support heavy loads without deformities in shape.
Apart from the aggressive tread pattern, Gladiator QR900-MT tires are factory screened and balanced for free radial runout for further enhancing performance and ride quality. These tires are constructed using a proprietary wire wrap in the steel belt package that leads to a wider footprint and less overall tread movement.

SimpleTire’s view on Gladiator QR900-MT tires
It is important to set the right expectations while choosing a particular tire. For instance, the Gladiator QR900-MT rating can never be high in terms of quietness as its primary aim is to scale tricky terrain and remain durable while doing so. The aggressive tread design here is responsible for excellent off-road traction. What’s more, these are available at budget-friendly prices. Since there are very few places that truly experience very heavy snow, these tires would be suitable for most of the US.

Bought them for our 2017 Silverado 4x4 with 8" lift and big wheels. I'd buy again.
I was running the BF Goodrich tires and loved them. However they wore out quick on road. I get wonderful traction off road with the Gladiator tire and a lot less noise on the road. These are mounted on a Jeep Wrangler TJ with 4 inch lift. These 33's do everything I need and a lot more. I love off road if with them and also love the look on my Jeep.
will buy again
Haven't got to really test them out. Need more time with them. Have them on a 2019 Chevy Silverado LTZ 2500 Duramax. I will be towing a 27 ft toy hauler so I'll get back soon as I can.
Run these on our modified tuff truck. Awsome tire for a low price
I sell firewood, clear undeveloped land, and haul 10k in weight on a regular basis. Off-road, mud, sand, gravel, brick, 70 mph to city driving, trailer no trailer, cruising with the ac on or silent with the windows open. 17k on the tires and I'm at half life. Rotated every 5k miles, truck is lifted on 35 inch with 18s load e. Excellent ride hardly any road vibration or noise. Just wished they last a bit longer from 35k to 40k in miles but will buy more and again for this price
I've had these tires on my truck for about 6 months and they have performed perfectly in the wet conditions of Louisiana. Even with me driving my truck like I'm Batman in the Batmobile, my truck has never lost traction regardless of wet or dry weather conditions. They have minimal road noise of any other tire I've had on my truck. My ride comfort drastically increased after replacing some Firestones previously installed (tires weren't worn out, but had aged allowing one to blowout a sidewall while crossing railroad tracks). The tires perform well both on the street as well as in mild off road conditions. They've pulled me out of a flooded yard, saturated in mud a few times. Overall, I would highly recommend them and I'd buy them again, if needed.
Had them in the truck needed new ones replaced with same tires like them
