The high performance grip and the wet weather traction kept me from hydroplaning. It meets and exceeds all tire expectations. It has a smooth ride that is quiet inside the vehical. The grip on dry pavement when braking truly impressed me. I would recommend this tire to everyone.

Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S Tire Review
Falken is a brand that still isn’t quite a “household name” but they’ve been building their presence for some time as a premium sub-brand from Sumitomo Rubber Industries. Over the last few years, the Ziex ZE960 A/S from Falken has proven itself to be a great all-around all-season tire for sedans, coupes, and crossovers, that want great handling, a generous tread life warranty, a quiet, forgiving ride, and dependable traction in wet or dry conditions.
But is this the right tire for you and your ride? Let’s take a look in this Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S review.
Features and Benefits
All-season tires are meant for year-round use, which means they need certain features to handle dry, wet, and winter weather. Here’s what the Ziex ZE960 A/S has to allow for strong all-season performance.
- Innovative Flask Siping design delivers superb resistance to hydroplaning
- Canyon Groove technology in tread enhances winter traction

- Advanced tread formulation enhances chemical bonds as the tire heats up, but stays pliable at low temperatures for winter traction

SimpleTire’s view on Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S tires
At SimpleTire, we’re big fans of tires like the Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S. We think of this tire as a do-all solution for a lot of drivers, a lot of vehicles and a lot of situations. It may not deliver the precise handling and braking traction of a summer or ultra-high-performance tire, but it more than makes up for that with great road manners, a quiet, comfortable ride and long tread life with a generous warranty. Best of all, the Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S is more affordable than much of the competition, but punches way above its weight class when it comes to price vs. performance. All in all, a great value for sedans, coupes, minivans, and crossovers.
Vehicles the Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S is a good replacement tire for
While not used as original equipment on any vehicle, the Ziex ZE960 A/S is ideal for year-round use. If you drive an Audi A4, Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet Cruze, Dodge Grand Caravan, Ford Fusion, Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Forte, Nissan Altima, Toyota Avalon, or Volkswagen Passat then the Ziex ZE960 A/S should be a great fit for your ride.

Great tires no problems great treadwear very good wet conditions very good dry conditions. They hook pretty well for all wheel drive 600 HP all around my new favorite tire I think.
nobody is going to mistake them for michelin or pirelli, but they offer good value for the price paid. good wet and dry handling and stopping, and fairly quiet. wear seems reasonable, and road noise and mileage are comparable to the hankook they replaced.
People who ride with me constantly point out how well the car grips the road on the windy mountain roads I live on. Excited to try them out in the snow this winter.
My new tires are doing great, I feel comfortable on the road no worries.
Just as good as factory Pirellis but cheaper. Quiet, responsive, great wet traction.
For the price, I am very happy with the tires. Nice grip, quiet and easy to balance. Would buy again for the price.
