Eldorado Tire has come a long way, serving as a trusted name in the replacement tire market for over 58 years. The brand works closely with dealers in North America as a member-owned private tire company. Currently, it is a leading supplier, distributing different types of tires for passenger cars, SUVs, ATVs, light trucks, commercial vehicles, and agricultural and specialty vehicles. The decent tire quality and affordability of Eldorado tires make them a great choice for owners looking for a budget yet effective tire. It offers tires in different categories, including all-season, mud-terrain, all-terrain, highway, winter, and commercial.
Developed for compact cars, coupes, sedans, and minivans, the Eldorado Tourmax GFT is an affordable all-season tire delivering great handling and year-round traction. The Tourmax GFT features an optimized tread design that boosts fuel efficiency by lowering rolling resistance. Thanks to its tread elements, the Eldorado tire avoids the risk of hydroplaning while boosting traction. While the notched center rib of the Tourmax GFT enhances driving stability and steering response, its shoulder tread blocks enhance cornering and promote even wear. It is backed by a 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
So, is it worth going for? Let's find out the answer in the Eldorado Tourmax GFT review.
Features and Benefits
All-season tires are designed to offer superior grip and traction year-round whether it's dry, wet, or light snowy conditions. These tires offer a balanced performance with adequate traction, comfort, and steering response. The Eldorado Tourmax GFT is an affordable all-season tire for passenger vehicles like compact cars, coupes, sedans, and minivans.
- Consistent year-round traction: The optimized tread pattern ensures enhanced traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. While the dense sipes provide extra biting edges, its circumferential grooves quickly eliminate water and slush from the tread to mitigate the risk of hydroplaning.
- Enhanced handling and stability: The notched center rib helps you maintain constant road contact as you navigate different driving conditions around the year, which allows better steering responsiveness, controllability, and stability. The optimized shoulder tread blocks boost the cornering ability while also boosting stability at the same time.
- Long tread life: Thanks to the computer-optimized tread design in the Tourmax GFT, the driving pressure is evenly distributed which resists uneven wear and boosts uniform wear. The special silica compound not only helps in returning better traction but also promotes longer service life.

They're an okay tire but not very good for winter at all. These tires came with the car I bought and the last couple of winters, I'm just not very confident with them and winter never used to bother me. But if you live in a dry climate most of the time or use these just as a summer tire, then they're aren't bad for the price.
Terrible tires in the snow, no traction when turning at slow speeds! Car slides side ways.
So far, So good. Great tire for the money.
